We Bring the Y.U.M.M.
USO Hawaii launched a new program, Y.U.M.M. (Your USO Mobile Meal) in March of 2019 in order to reach more service members stationed on Oahu who can’t always get to a USO Center. Our first Y.U.M.M. was delivered to Marine Corps Base Hawaii unit, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363. Marines have been working around the clock to prepare their aircraft for an arduous inspection in order to pass Australian custom standards. These Marines were successful in clearing all dirt, dust and plants and 17 aircraft were cleared to deploy to Darwin, Australia. Y.U.M.M. sets out to provide a morale boost and a taste of home as a way to thank our service members for their hard work and sacrifices they make every day.
