USO Hawaii invites you to play the “Holiday Photos in Hawaii” sweepstakes. Contact usohawaiiareaoffice.web@uso.org to pickup your photo kit to play. The event is open to all active-duty, National Guard, and Reserve U.S. military personnel (grade of E-6 or below) and their dependents who are stationed in Hawaii and age 18 or older at time of entry. What: USO Hawaii Holiday Photos in Hawaii Sweepstakes

When: December 13 - 24, 2020

CHALLENGE ENTRY PERIOD: The USO Hawaii Holiday Photos in Hawai Sweepstakes begins on December 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. HST and ends on December 24, 2020, 8:00 a.m. HST (the “Sweepstakes Entry Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: Active-duty, National Guard, and Reserve United States military personnel (rank of E-6 or below) and their dependents who are stationed in Hawaii and age 18 or older at the time of entry can enter for a chance to win various prizes, as described below. Employees, directors, and officers of the United Service Organizations, Inc. (“USO,” the “Sponsor,” and the “Administrator”), USO’s affiliates, and each of their respective advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”), and their immediate family members and those living within the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER

1. Contact usohawaiiareaoffice.web@uso.org to make arrangements to pick up a photo kit (consisting of a USO fan, a location checklist, and a USO pen) from December 14, 2020, at 10 am to December 18, 2020, at 1 pm HST.

2. Take photos of the USO Fan at each of the twelve (12) locations on the checklist.

3. In the comments section, post the USO Fan photo at each location to the USO Hawaii Facebook page. All photo submissions must be respectful and appropriate for all audiences, as determined by USO, in its sole discretion. One (1) entry per person/family. To qualify for the Sweepstakes, entries must be submitted within the Sweepstakes Entry Period.

4. Each day, entrants must post the “Photo of the Day” by 9 p.m. HST during the sweepstakes entry period December 13, 2020, to December 23, 2020, and before 9 am HST on December 24, 2020.

5. Each day, the USO Hawaii Area Office will randomly draw two (2) winners and announce the winners by 3 pm HST the following day on the USO Hawaii’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Each randomly drawn winner is automatically entered in the grand prize sweepstakes. The USO Hawaii Area Office will announce the five (5) grand prize winners, on the USO Hawaii’s Facebook and Instagram pages on December 24, 2020, by 12 pm HST.

6. USO Hawaii will notify each winner by Facebook Messenger message and give them instructions on how to claim their prize. If a potential winner does not respond to the winner notification message (message will be sent two (2) times), or if the said message is returned as undeliverable, or if an entrant is otherwise found to be ineligible, or if a selected winner cannot accept or participate for any reason, the potential winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification procedures connected with an alternate winner’s choice if any. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution by any winner or cash equivalent is allowed. Sponsor will not replace any lost, misplaced, or stolen prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Prize winners are solely responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes and all expenses incurred in claiming their prize.
