USO JBPHH Volunteer reaches 3,920 Volunteer Hours and Counting!
At USO JBPHH, we are a Force Behind the Forces and our volunteers play a special role in serving those who serve. During National Volunteer Week, we’d like to celebrate one of USO JBPHH’s volunteers, Mike Whittekiend, who has 3,920 lifetime hours and counting! Mike, who is from Honolulu, HI has been with the USO for 5 years, and has accumulated the most hours out of any USO Hawaii center.
From showing up early to ensuring all details of the center operations are covered, he is always there for our service members and the USO. He has been someone we can count on and we cannot thank him enough for his service and dedication to the center.
We’re looking for volunteers who have a commitment to our mission to strengthen America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation.
If you are interested in volunteering at USO JBPHH, please register in our USO Volunteer Community.
